Safety
Kitesurfing can be a dangerous activity. Ensure you are sufficiently competent and have
undergone approved training either from a BKSA or IKO instructor/school.

Beach Status
The beach status information provided here is intended to assist
with beach management and is a reasonable precaution specifically for the safety of non-kitesurfing beach users.
The 'Green Flag' status does not mean the beach and water conditions are safe for
kitesurfing. It simply means no ban on kitesurfing is in force.
It remains the responsibility of the individual kitesurfer to determine whether the
local conditions are safe for their ability, experience and equipment.
